Did you ever notice how in a group of people who are all at the same level and with no formal authority over one another, there's always one or two who are able to influence the group more than others? This is one of the most powerful forms of influence because it's based on communication style and personality instead of a formally given title. It's also one of the most respected forms of influence. So how do they do it? How can you do it? How can you get into a mindset where you're not afraid to give your ideas and to do so in a way that others will listen and be willing to oblige?
In this club, we'll talk about the psychology of influence through personality rather than through authority. We'll look at different personality types and communication strategies in both the arts of speaking and listening. We'll delve into group psychology and see how interpersonal relations and skills play a part in ways we may have never realised. We'll share our own experiences. We'll have a meaningful and potentially transformative workshop and discussion!
